Hacky sacks are coming back. Want to make your own? Type in your email below to get my free pattern! They make excellent holiday and birthday gifts.
You can take this to the next level and make it a super eco-friendly hacky sack. Use secondhand cotton yarn and recycled/reused filling instead of buying new materials from the store. I personally found a 15-lb bag of poly beads on Facebook marketplace; the lady I bought it from had purchased the beads for a project, but she never finished it. So the poly beads I use were “rescued” from the landfill. Woot!
Want to know exactly what kind of yarn I use? You can buy the full pattern with links to the yarn now on my Etsy. I have a few color options so be sure to browse my entire shop to see what I have to choose from (Etsy shop section: Serious Crochet).
